Become a Member of Glasgow Tool Library to borrow items, like power tools, lawnmowers, wallpaper strippers, pizza ovens, games and MORE!
How it works
Sign up
Create an account and
select a membership
that you can afford.
Reserve
Reserve up to 10 tools
and choose your pickup
location and time.
Book
Collect your tools.
Bring photo ID
and proof of address on
your first pick-up.
Return
Return the equipment,
cleaned and ready for
the next person to use,
or renew for another
week.
Annual Membership Options
We offer a range of pay-what-you-can membership options, so you can choose a price that works for you, regardless of your financial circumstances.

All memberships give you access to almost 1,000 items worth over £10,000! As a not-for-profit charity, all membership fees get reinvested back into supporting the tool library, our volunteer and educational programme, reducing waste, promoting sharing as alternative to consumerism.
